A good Fright Train inventory keeps your combat items in fast slots and your backup items in slow slots. Build around access speed, not neatness.

Think in layers

Front-of-body slots are for things you expect to touch during pressure. Back or lower slots are for insurance items and lower-frequency resources.

Best items to keep close

  • Current magazine and reload support.
  • At least one heat pad if roof or outdoor movement is expected soon.
  • An emergency recovery item if you are about to hit a storm.

What to push away

  • Sellable junk or loot you are carrying to convert later.
  • Weapons you are not currently relying on.
  • Extra supplies saved for the next section.
