How to Get Credits in Fright TrainGuide visual
The credit loop that powers the run.
Quick answer.
Credits come from a simple loop: break props, kill enemies, sell extra loot, and avoid spending money on doors or items that do not solve your next immediate problem.
Where your first credits should come from
Early videos consistently show players collecting startup money by kicking props and containers in the opening car. Do that first, then pick off easy enemies when you can do it safely.
Best uses for credits
| Priority | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Ammo and a usable weapon | If you cannot finish a storm, every other investment fails with it. |
| Repairs | A critical car condition can force an expensive outdoor repair stop later. |
| Doors that unblock progress | Only spend when the door moves the run forward or clearly improves your odds. |
| Convenience buys | Useful, but only after the basics above are covered. |
Sell before you starve
Vending machines are not only for buying. Spare loot can be sold for extra credits, which is often the cleanest way to recover from a bad spend. If you are carrying dead weight, convert it into repair or ammo money.
